Stefan Stirred Up For Blooming Beginnings - Logan Rankin

Hutton's Stefan Lamacq has given his thoughts about his time with The Tons and what the future beholds.

Last Season's Play-Off Defeat
The 22 year-old goalkeeper was a strong part in Hutton's promotion charge, but after succumbing in the playoff semi-finals Lamacq was destrort. Hutton were clearly the better side against Hackney Wick, but in the beautiful game, the better team doesn't always come out on top. As you would expect, it hurt a lot - but adds fuel to the fire and make the league theirs.

Last Season Overview
Lamacq joined Hutton on loan last season from Billericay Town F.C in the early stages of the 24/25 season. Stefan was first to say his game has massively improved since arriving at The Tons and is still continuing to improve, with the management staff giving him a platform to build on and is every so grateful for the opportunity of senior football.

Pre-Season Fixtures
Hutton 2-1 Saffron Walden
East Thurrock 2-3 Hutton
Billericay Town 4-0 Hutton
Heybridge Swifts 4-1 Hutton
Hutton 2-2 White Ensign
Benfleet 1-4 Hutton

The New Setup
Since Matt Singh stepped up a role at the club, the board chose the elect and welcomed Francesco Zabotti at the helm. Zabotti was previously managed AS London last campaign and guided them to a 3rd place finish. He has given Lamacq full custody of how he wants to play and gives full support and responsibility in that matter, and with the season approaching rapidly, Zabotti is a strong believer that Hutton can go all the way this term.

Other Teams
With many great clubs being listed in the league, Lamacq is confident that his side can put in convincing performances against these teams. FC Romania are one of the many well known teams, who are raring to begin and claim the only promotion place to the division above.

End of Season Predictions
Hutton begin their league campaign this Saturday against NW London, the squad realistically see themselves finishing at the summit - that is the only aim for this season.

Looking Further Forward
After playing reserve football with Billericay Town, to going on loan to Hutton, the future is sure to hold many more surprises and challenges for Lamacq. He's enjoying his time with The Tons at the moment. He's developing his game further with Mason Kent, and with 'the gaffa' giving full trust in Lamacq without any show of doubt. The main priority for the blooming goalkeeper is to keep clean sheets and throws points on the board and win the title.
