Season Overview - Horsham

In the league opener, the game didn't go quite as planned for The Hornets as they were beaten by Hastings United 2-0 with Fin Chapman and a Davide Rodari penalty being the only goals in the match, they would soon bounce back immediately as Horsham just scrapped past Chichester City. Charlie Hester-Cook netted early and Jimmy Wild found the equaliser but in the second half was soon denied by an 87th minute winner by Chris Dickson. The first half of the season was a clear understatement for The Hornets as they picked up 32 points and sat in 6th place, somewhat not title-worthy. In the new year, Horsham burst out of nowhere and grabbed 52 points in the 2nd half of the season alone. Regardless, it would all come down to the last game of the season. Horsham had to better Billericay Town's result. Horsham picked up their 3 points against Hashtag, with Jake Elliot, Harvey Sparks, Ola Ogunwamide, and Lucas Rodrigues grabbing the goals to snatch Billericay's title hopes by a singular goal. Champions of the Isthmian Premier League. They have alsopicked up a final at the Amex Stadium against Littlehampton Town with a chance to make their season even better.

Highest Preforming Players

Players are the key reason for these successes and 2 players have taking the league by storm. Chris Dickson and Reece Myles - Meekums. Chris Dickson started his professional career at Carshalton Athletic many, many years ago. The 40 year-old have has spells in Cyprus, China and England, Dickson has scored 14 Isthmian league goals in the 24/25 campaign. A younger approach to The Hornet's playing pattern, Reece Myles - Meekums, he was awarded HPOTS - Hornet's Player of the Season - after an impressive season with a number of goals and assists to his name. Another player who has been undeniably a key cause fro Horsham's title win is Lewis Carey. Being a vital component in Horsham's FA Cup campaign, when they beat Dorking Wanderers - to progress to the First Round, and also throughout the Isthmian season.

What Does It Mean For The Club

After being founded in 1881, Horsham are still on a perilious adventure and that starts with their first ever promotion to the Vanarama National League South. This means the club can attact higher profile players and a steop closer to the end goal.

Stefan Stirred Up For Blooming Beginnings - Logan Rankin

Hutton's Stefan Lamacq has given his thoughts about his time with The Tons and what the future beholds. Last Season's Play-Off Defeat The 22 year-old goalkeeper was a strong part in Hutton's promotion charge, but after succumbing in the playoff semi-finals Lamacq was destrort. Hutton were clearly the better side against Hackney Wick , but in the beautiful game, the better team doesn't always come out on top. As you would expect, it hurt a lot - but adds fuel to the fire and make the league theirs. Last Season Overview Lamacq joined Hutton on loan last season from Billericay Town F.C in the early stages of the 24/25 season. Bottom Four Run Out of Time in The Isthmian Premier- Logan Rankin

 It is now confirmed after 40 games in the Isthmian Premier League that the bottom four will be relegated, with 2 at the first time of asking.  Bowers and Pitsea, who were confirmed to be the first relegation cursed side a number of weeks ago, every Bowers and neutral fan alike could agree, this has been a disaster of a season. It looked to be a season of struggles in their first 5 league games, where they only managed to salvage 1 point. However, it seemed to be an FA Cup dream for Bowers and Pitsea, when they beat Isthmian title contenders, Billericay Town, 1-2 in the Fourth Qualifying Round of the FA Cup. It would take a couple of games longer to get The Bowers their first league win against- current league leaders- Dartford. Regardless, they managed to win another 6 times. But hope already had faded for the red and white club a while ago.
